An afternoon of spooky family fun at the House
The experience
Halloween fun for little monsters
Calling all little monsters, witches, ghosts and ghouls. Join us at Longridge House this Halloween for an afternoon packed with family fun, from pumpkin decorating and spooky crafts to music, dancing and fancy dress.
Taking over the Garden Room from 2pm until 5pm on Halloween itself, it’s the perfect way to get the kids dressed up and ready for an afternoon of fun before heading out trick or treating.

What's included
Every child ticket includes:
• Decorate your own pumpkin to take home
• Ghost biscuit decorating
• Monster arts & crafts
• Halloween disco
• Spooky photo opportunities
• Fancy dress competitions and prizes
Activities are designed for children aged 12 and under.
Halloween face painting will also be available from The Baked and the Beautiful for an additional cost, payable directly to the face painter by cash or card.
Dress to impress
Fancy dress isn’t just for the kids. We’ll be looking out for the best kids’ costume, best family costume and best adult costume, with prizes up for grabs.
So get the whole family involved and come Halloween-ready.
Spooky Afternoon Tea
Make an afternoon of it with our special Spooky Afternoon Tea, available for £15 per child.

Our regular afternoon tea is also available for adults.
Spooky Afternoon Tea is available from 12pm-5pm and must be booked in advance. To book, email our Events team at events@longridgehouse.com with your preferred time and the number of adults and children attending. No deposit is required.
All treats, no tricks
Feeling peckish? We’ll have even more Halloween favourites available to buy on the day, including Lancashire hot pot with pickled red cabbage and kids’ Frankfurt hot dogs.
Our All Treats, No Tricks station will also be serving spider cupcakes, marshmallow crispy brains, ghoulish brownies, drinks and hot chocolate.

What does a child ticket include?
Child tickets include pumpkin decorating, ghost biscuit decorating, monster arts & crafts, the Halloween disco, spooky photo opportunities and our fancy dress competitions and prizes.
Is face painting available?
Yes. The Baked and the Beautiful will be offering Halloween face painting for an additional cost, payable directly by cash or card.
Do adults need a ticket?
Yes. All guests attending the event need a ticket, including adults. Adult tickets are free, but must be booked in advance through Eventbrite.
Do under 2s need a ticket?
Yes. Under 2 tickets are free, but do not include the activities or a pumpkin.
Can we book Spooky Afternoon Tea too?
Yes. Our Kids' Spooky Afternoon Tea is available from 12pm-5pm for £15 per child, with our regular afternoon tea also available for adults. Afternoon Tea must be booked separately in advance by emailing events@longridgehouse.com with your preferred time and the number of adults and children attending. No deposit is required.
Should we come in fancy dress?
Absolutely! We'll have prizes for the best kids' costume, best family costume and best adult costume, so grown-ups are encouraged to get involved too.
Can I pay by cash at Longridge House?
Longridge House is a card-only venue. Face painting is provided separately by The Baked and the Beautiful, who will accept cash or card.
